The Moment You’ve Been Waiting for…

Indicando la via al futuro (Pointing the Way to the Future) was unveiled June 9th during the Wooster Square Monument Dedication Day. This life-sized sculpture of a young immigrant family’s arrival to America was created by Marc-Anthony Massaro, and stands in the center of the new Wooster Square memorial honoring the contributions of New Haven’s Italian immigrants. The sculpture celebrates the courage of people who left the only home they knew with the hope of realizing the American dream.
